Konnichiwa. Hey there, I'm Mike Hirsch. I run Ground Level Creative, where I try to make the world look slightly better than it actually is. With a BFA from SCAD and a second degree from The Portfolio Center / Creative Circus Atlanta, I spent years as a Designer and Art Director in agencies that promised 'disruption' but mostly delivered deadlines, though some were hella-cool to work at (what up Pyro and Push!). Eventually, I did some time in Seoul Korea as Creative Director of Photography for Samsung. Working alongside photography maverick Hyung Woo Lee at DNA Studios confirmed that making good imagery is really about lighting, a little retouching and a lot of stubbornness about detail.
